About The Role

Arrae is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs & QA Specialist to ensure our products meet the highest regulatory and quality standards. This role is perfect for someone passionate about compliance, certifications, and quality assurance within the wellness industry, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role will report to the Director of Product Development.

What You'll Do

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all products comply with local and international regulations, including FDA, EU, Health Canada, and other relevant markets.
  • Ensure the company complies with all health and safety regulations for dietary supplements (e.g., FDA, GMP) and prepares products for e-commerce and retail channels.
  • Manage claims substantiation and label compliance, including health claims, to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Oversee documentation and processes for obtaining and maintaining certifications (e.g., non-GMO, organic, vegan).

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that the company maintains strict quality standards throughout the entire production process to meet consumer expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee quality checks at every stage of production, from raw materials to finished goods, to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Coordinate third-party testing for raw materials and finished products to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Conduct testing to ensure product safety and meet all regulatory standards for dietary supplements.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce internal quality control protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct audits and assessments of manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with contract manufacturers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Process Management:

  • Maintain and organize documentation related to regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory landscapes and proactively adapt company policies and practices to align with new requirements.

Who You Are

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of FDA, EU, Health Canada and other international regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience managing claims substantiation and label compliance.
  • Familiarity with third-party testing processes and quality management systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external
    partners.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Regulatory Affairs or Quality Assurance (e.g., RAC, CQE).
  • Experience conducting facility audits.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and quality assurance software.
